1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing and using PedalCar you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any provision, you should not use the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of them.
2. The service
PedalCar is a classifieds platform connecting car buyers and sellers in Mozambique. We are not a dealer, financial intermediary or a party to the transaction, negotiation, payment or delivery between the parties. We do not guarantee the completion of any sale.
3. Account and registration
An account is required to publish listings or save favourites. You agree to provide truthful information and keep your credentials confidential, being responsible for all activity carried out with your account. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
4. Listings and content
Advertisers are responsible for the truthfulness, legality and accuracy of the information and photos they publish. Publishing false, misleading or duplicate listings, vehicles of illicit origin or unrealistic prices is prohibited. Listings are reviewed by our moderation team and may be rejected or removed when they break these rules, with the reason indicated.
5. Publication and duration
Publishing listings is free. Each listing stays active for 90 days and can be renewed by the advertiser. Optional paid services, such as listing highlights, are confirmed manually after payment validation and are non-refundable once activated.
6. User conduct
Using the platform for illegal purposes, sending unsolicited bulk communications, scraping other users' data, circumventing security measures or interfering with the operation of the service is prohibited.
7. Liability
PedalCar is not liable for damages arising from transactions between users, for the quality or condition of advertised vehicles, or for the conduct of buyers or sellers. We always recommend inspecting the vehicle and its documentation in person before any payment, and never paying in advance.
8. Intellectual property
The PedalCar brand, design and platform software are the property of PedalCar. By publishing a listing, the advertiser grants us a non-exclusive licence to display the published content on the platform and in its promotional materials.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms at any time; changes take effect upon publication on this page. These terms are governed by Mozambican law, with the courts of Maputo city having jurisdiction.
